Happy FriYAY friends! This week flew by! It was a warm week that ended cold and rainy. We got up to 78 here in Arizona in the afternoons! The trees thought it was spring and started to bud! I’m hoping this rain turns into snow up north so we can take the kids up to play in the snow. I think I’ve said that every week in December and January, but Flagstaff hasn’t gotten more than one inch of snow, which is very weird.
And since there is no snow, we will be staying home and mostly cleaning. Does anyone else hate when cashiers or random people ask you what your plans are for the weekend? Like, hey, Trader Joe’s/Costco, you are my weekend plans. You are looking at my plans right now as we speak. Like I have three kids five and under, my plans are to survive, and hopefully, the house won’t be worse on Sunday than it was on Friday. Just saying…I literally have to make a Costco run this weekend, and other than cleaning, that is my weekend plan. haha

Fitness
After not working out at all last weekend because I didn’t feel good, I got a few good workouts this week! My weight loss has slowed, so I’m making a commitment to walk 2 miles per day (on days that I don’t run.) This is something I did with the first two kids that really really helped but has been much harder to implement this time around. Now that the boys are older, I sometimes feel torn between do I want to get a long walk in or let them ride their bikes/run and they get their energy out.
But, so far, I’m three days in, haha, well, four if you count the run day. I don’t have to do an extra walk.
Here are what my workouts looked like this week:
- Friday – off
- Saturday – off
- Sunday – off
- Monday – Ran 2 miles
- Tuesday – Strength Workout + walk in the morning with the kids
- Wednesday – Metabolic/Tabata Workout 30 minutes + walk 2 miles while on a training
- Thursday – Off + walk in the morning with kids
