Hello friends! Quick post today! We’re fighting the ick over here. So far, the kids have been a little cranky and tired, but okay. Mr. Hungry has it the worst, so I’m trying to remember to take my vitamins, which I’ve been kind of bad at recently. Nora’s also getting two more teeth, so we’ve been in really fussy baby land. At least one of the top ones starts to cut through, so there is just one more to go for this round. Between that and ickies going through the house, it’s been a head-down and just keep-going kind of week! We will probably stay close to home this weekend and try to get some extra rest!

All Natural Teeth Whitening
I feel like I’ve tried everything when it comes to teeth whitening, and it either makes my teeth extremely painful, is super messy (charcoal powder), or is questionably very toxic. I was influenced to buy Luminex Whitening Strips by a mommy/lifestyle blogger on Instagram, and I gotta say I really like it. They recommend doing seven days in a row, then using them 1-3 times a week afterward. Because it didn’t make my teeth so sensitive, I could stick with it, unlike things I’ve tried in the past, where I fell off the bandwagon.
I was really pleased with the results. Even Mr. Hungry noticed a big difference. I ended up ordering the mouthwash and the whitening pen, too! I use the mouthwash right before bed on nights. I don’t do the whitening strips. I use the pen as a stain repellant before I drink my morning coffee during my am work session at 4/5 am since I don’t brush my teeth till after the kids wake up. I’m really happy with the difference and even happier there is no teeth sensitivity! I’ll report back again in a month, but I’m really happy with the results.
Self Tanner – Tanologist
You can say I’m on a bit of a Mommy makeover kick. I wanted to find a self-tanner I could use in the spring/summer, so I figured I should be looking now. That way, if there is a tanner castratrophy, it would be less obvious under winter clothes. I’m a newbie when it comes to self-tanner (I mean, I used to use Jergens back in the day, but not in many years.) I found this self-tanner by tanologist that you can mix with your own lotion. After a couple of weeks of use, I found the sweet spot is 2-3 drops for every pump of lotion (I use this one.) I did it two days in a row, and I like the way it looks! Really great for a beginner!
I tried it on my face, but I didn’t like that as much because I felt like it made my dark spots slightly darker too? But that’s fine because I have bronzer makeup I can use. This is the only photo I have of my whole body, but I really like the subtle darkening in color with no streaks or orangy look and that you can go up or down in concentration with the drops!
Apple Watch Covers
My Apple Watch screen recently exploded while on the charger. Well, at least we think that’s what happened, but it’s possible that one of the kids was messing with it while it was on the charger and broke it, too. I found these Lanhoo covers, which were super cheap and had great reviews. Some people said their watch was run over and the cover cracked, but the watch was fine! It’s working to keep my watch functional because I don’t have to worry about glass getting in my finger when I use it. However, I know that I’ll likely forget to take it off when getting in the bath/shower, and water will leak into the broken screen, and it will be done. But at least I’m getting to use it for a little while longer before replacing it. I also put a screen on Mr. Hungry’s unbroken watch. I don’t know why it didn’t occur to me to look for a case prior to my watch getting broken. That likely would have been smart. So, I’m sharing here! They come in all different colors!
Chipotle Work From Home “Date”
Not the prettiest picture ever, but it did hit the spot last Friday! Mr. Hungry and I had a work-from-home date, meaning we ordered and picked up Chipotle together. Then worked while we ate haha
