Well, this post is going up late! I’ve had limited childcare this week. Two of the three people who usually help out were out of town or quarantining post traveling. So, it was a bit of a challenging week, but we made it, one way or another! So TGIF for real this week!
What are your plans for this weekend? The weather is getting so nice outside, so we will likely spend a lot of time outside! We’ve been going on a lot of walks – KJ LOVES to go on adventure walks. Each time it seems like he wants to go farther and farther, I’m impressed with how far he can go walking, but then he usually wants me to carry him back, so I bring the wagon.
That’s it for me today! Sorry, this post went up so late, hopefully back to regular blogging next week!
Favorite meal of the week:
I’ve re-sparked my obsession with Einstein’s bagels! Love using the App, but unfortunately, they don’t have all the options on there. I still like it, though, because they have a really great curbside pick up so I can take KJ with me to get some bagel sandwiches!
New Bath Toys for KJ
After reading a horrifying story about a kid squirting himself in the eye with a bath toy that had mold on the inside and almost losing his eyesight, I replaced all of KJs bath toys. These stick on the tub wall toys were a huge hit, and so were the multi-color tug boats!
Stainless Steel Toddler Plates
We’ve been using these stainless steel plates and love them. Of course, it kind of sucks that you can’t heat food on them, but it’s not that big of a hassle, and I love reducing the amount of plastic we are using in our house!

Pumpkin Patch Halloween Cookies
You must make my pumpkin patch Halloween cookies. They are so fun and taste delicious! If you don’t have a boatload of people to share with them because of COVID social distancing, make a half batch!
