Happy almost Friday! Today I have a guest post from the fabulous Megan, the blogger behind Charleston Crafted. I'm always checking out her blog for home inspiration ideas so I asked her to share some of her favorite home projects with Hungry Hobby readers! Hope you enjoy!
Hello, Hungry Hobby readers! If you are on Kelli’s site, then I am sure that you love healthy eating + cooking. We also love cooking (mostly healthy, sometimes not as much!) and therefore prioritized making over our kitchen when we bought our 90’s wonder of a house 2 years ago.
Living in Charleston, South Carolina, we found our inspiration in the blues, greens, and whites of the beach with this totally DIY coastal kitchen makeover. We really spend a lot of time in our kitchen prepping our healthy meals, so it was important to us that space feel clean and nice. If you spend lots of time in your kitchen too, you’ll probably agree.
The big projects include:
- our DIY sea glass backsplash
- how we DIY removed our old countertops to save money
- how we DIY painted our cabinets
- how to extend your cabinets to the ceiling
- how to make any cabinet or drawer slow close
- our reclaimed pantry door
- the awesome DIY painted wood grain art over our table
I hope that you will click over and check out these projects and join us as we craft our first home into our dream home!
