Ingredients
- 1 pound 93% lean ground beef
- 2-3 jalapeños* chopped
- ½ cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- ⅓ cup oat flour gluten free or bread crumbs
- 1 egg
- ⅓ cup HERDEZ® Salsa Verde
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and mix with hands until combined.
- Shape 5 hamburger patties.
- Grill until internal temperature reaches 145F and desired level of doneness (well, medium well, rare etc.)
- Serve with whole grain buns or over salad.
Notes
*If you spicier burgers leave the seeds and veins, if not, then deseed and devein the jalapeños.
