Thursday (9/15)REST/ OFF - quite literally drove Nala two blocks to the dog park to avoid stressing my shins
Holy cow my shins are THROBBING, as I type this I'm icing them and praying to the running gods!  I think I know it's because I hurried into Orange Theory without stretching or warming up and it ended up killing me!  For me, I have to warm up or you know what is going to hit the fan.  I need to do press ups, glute activators, ankle mobilizers, and calf stretches before running.  But I didn't, so my shins were hurting when I woke up on Wednesday. I probably should have skipped the run but it didn't hurt when I started so I figured it would be fine.  FAIL. Not fine.  🙁 I'm hoping I can see Dr. Khavari today (Friday) and be good to run on Saturday or Sunday for a long run.  That kind of throws off my plans though because I was hoping to get a long run in before I was gone for a week!  I'm traveling to Vermont and then Iowa and will be gone one full week! So that's a great start to my training....
