Hi friends! How is your weekend going so far? Mine has been pretty good! We knocked out grocery shopping on Friday night.
Sprouts
I’m excited for the buffalo chicken deli meat (nitrate free) and the chobani 100 calorie yogurts made with only natural flavors!
We weren’t planning on it but we ended up grabbing a whole bunch of stuff to grill today! I’ve got a hot backyard pool date complete with grilling and drinks planned with the hubby today and I could not be more excited (provided it doesn’t rain).
Meal Plan
I know lately my meal plans have kind of been really simple/boring. Mr. Hungry started playing basketball again twice a week which means he doesn’t get in till late. Plus, I’ve had Physical Therapy appointments 2-3 times per week until recently, so it’s been a weird dynamic. It’s going to be the same this week too because I’ve got kind of a weird week at work which is going to mean I’ll be home later than usual.
Breakfast
I might bring the quest bar/banana combo for my meetings across town, but more than likely I’ll end up eating out. Whenever I have to be across town, I always like to go super early before traffic and get some freelance work done. I don’t sit in traffic well, I’d rather be productive. So most likely I’ll end up with some of my favorites like:
– Starbucks Egg White Feta Wrap or Oatmeal
– Einsteins Southwest Turkey Sausage or Whole Wheat Bagel
– Panera Egg Sandwich or Oatmeal
Lunch
Lunch is kind of the same deal, not sure if the food will be catered for lunch or not this week. I got Buffalo Deli Chicken to make salads with and that should cover us, plus leftovers..
Dinner
I promise to get better plans up soon, but for this week we are sticking with the normal usual.
- Sunday- grilling, healthy mac and cheese, and drinks!
- Monday- Mahi Burgers & Veggies
- Tuesday- Chicken Breakfast Sausage Hash
- Wednesday- Mr. Hungry Cooks Salmon with Salad or Frozen Veggies
- Thursday- Scrambled Eggs or Smoothies
- Friday- Wing it
- Saturday- Wing it
Fitness
Like I said, this week is going to be crazy busy. I’m going for quality over quantity (ie short hard workouts). I’ll try not to be hard on myself if I get trouble fitting it all in. So I’ll make this the tentative plan and switch things around as needed!
- Sunday- runday
- Monday- Total Body Strength and HIIT
- Tuesday- PT and walk
- Wednesday- Strength and HIIT
- Thursday- Swim & Walk
- Friday- Run
- Saturday- Rest
