Happy Ash Wednesday! I hope you had a good day, mine was all over the place but some days are just like that right? With the upcoming lenten season I’ve already received many questions about non meat non protein shake protein sources here are a few ideas:
Today’s Breakfast: Greek Yogurt (I like to mix mine with vanilla Sweetleaf drops, chia seeds and berries)
Cottage Cheese is also a good option too! Or hard boiled eggs and avocado!
For lunch I packed Wild Planet Tuna with a BUNCH of salsa/sour cream, can’t stand dry tuna salad.
For dinner we made omelets, shrimp and broccoli for Mr. Hungry, and Kale Shrimp and Egg Whites for me!
Ingredients:
- 3 ounces shrimp
- italian quattro formaggio cheese
- 1 cup sauteed kale
- 3/4 cup egg whites
Snacks today included a Quest bar and Peanut Butter, hope that gives you some ideas!
