Preheat oven to 400F & line a baking sheet with parchment/foil and grease it.
Clean and then slice the sweet potato into ¼ inch rounds. Lay rounds on baking sheet, season with salt and pepper to taste. Bake for 15ish minutes until the rounds are fork tender but not mushy.
While the sweet potato rounds are baking, combine ground lamb, ½ yellow onion, one tablespoon avocado oil, ½ teaspoon dill, ½ teaspoon oregano, ½ teaspoon salt and minced garlic. Form into eight equal size patties.
Heat 1 tablespoon avocado oil on medium on a skillet. Cook patties for 5 minutes on each side until cooked all the way through and center of patties reach 165F.
Assemble sliders by starting with one sweet potato round on the bottom, smear with ½ ounce goat cheese (about a tablespoon), add lamb patty, smear with one tablespoon cranberry sauce, and top with another sweet potato round. Repeat until you have eight sliders.
Notes
*when grocery shopping pick a super fat cylindrical sweet potato that could make nice buns for the sliders!
