Preheat the air fryer to 375°F. In a large bowl, toss the butternut squash cubes with oil, salt, cinnamon, and a pinch of nutmeg until evenly coated. Spread the seasoned squash in a single layer on the air fryer rack or basket. Air fry for 18-25 minutes, shaking or tossing the squash halfway through to ensure even cooking.
Air Fryer Butternut Squash Halves
Preheat the air fryer to 375°F. Cut off the stem end of the butternut squash, then slice it in half vertically. Scoop out the seeds and discard them. If desired, score the flesh in a crisscross pattern for a decorative touch. Brush the cut side of the squash with oil and season as desired. Place the squash cut side up in the air fryer and cover it with foil. Air fry for 20-30 minutes, removing the foil in the last 5-10 minutes of cooking. The squash is done when it is fork-tender. Serve and enjoy!
