5 Ingredient Sausage Skillet
Looking for a healthy meal ready in 30 minutes or less? This 5 ingredient skillet is packed with veggies and tasty breakfast sausage. Eat it for any meal!

Ingredients

small onion chopped or ½ large onion
2
cloves
garlic
minced or chopped
1
lb
breakfast pork sausage or another breakfast sausage*
1
large apple
seeded, cored, and chopped
24
ounces
carrot noodles
2 boxes frozen TJ’s Carrot Noodles
Salt and pepper to taste
Optional garnish with 2 tablespoons chives.
Instructions
Directions:
Add onion, garlic and pork breakfast sausage to skillet. Cook over medium heat until pork sausage is cooked all the way through.
If you used frozen veggie noodles, defrost them now in the microwave. Or if you are making your own veggie noodles, make them now!
Add chopped apple and carrot (or other veggie) noodles to the skillet, mix until well combined and hot!
Add salt and pepper to taste, serve immediately. Add garnish if you wish (totally optional.)
Notes
If you use a leaner type of breakfast sausage you will likely need to add a bit of oil.
