Plain Sweet Potato Toast Recipe

How to make sweet potato toast so that you can top it with anything you want!

Ingredients

  • 1 slice large sweet potato 1/8 to 1/4 inch thick

Instructions

Toaster Instructions:

  • Place your sweet potato slice into the toaster.  Turn the toaster all the way up as high as it can go.  Toast the slices until they are fork tender and browned.  This took 3-4 cycles for my toaster, each time it pops up I flipped my slice of sweet potato for even cooking. 

Toaster Oven / Conventional Oven Instructions:

  • Cook the slices at 400F for 15-25 minutes, turning once.  They should be browned on both sides and fork tender when you are done!
