Flax & Hemp Seed Energy Bites

These flax-hempseed bites are a convenient and tasty way to get in tons of anti-inflammatory omega 3 fats! Great for hormone balance too!

  1. Place all ingredients in a food processor and process until completely combined.  Do not over process into a spreadable butter. Stop when you can form the balls with your hands. 
  2. Form 16 balls with your hands.  Store in the refrigerator!  (see note)

Recipe Notes

These are kind of shelf stable.  Flax and hempseed are shelf stable to a point, just like any omega 3 the fats are delicate and should be kept in cold most of the time.  However, I plan to take these with me cross country and put them in the mini fridge when I get there.  They should be fine during that trip!
