Hi, friends! Just popping in to share some highlights from the weekend!
Best moment this weekend: Thai Food
Worst moment this weekend: Being nauseous on Sunday until 2 pm.
What were your best and worst moments this weekend?!?!?!
Friday Highlights
Getting my car detailed! We have Sean and his crew from In The Detail AZ come about twice a year to do a full-service detail on our cars. They do an amazing job and are worth every penny, I would highly recommend them to anyone in AZ. I wanted to mention them because we've been using them for a couple years now and they are uber professional plus do such good work.
Getting AMAZING Thai food on Friday night and not being afraid I was going to go into labor (I like it spicy) since I'm 37 weeks I'm cool with hungry baby coming any time! Bring on the Thai Food! My favorite is drunken noodles!
Saturday Highlights
Almost 3 Mile Walk with Nala and Mr. Hungry, felt SOOOO good to get moving!
Making this Crockpot Queso Chili from Pinch of Yum!
I can't follow a recipe these days, not even my own. So the changes I made were as follows:
- added two cans of diced tomatoes
- added 2 cups of salsa instead 3
- added 2 cups of water instead of 1.5
- cut out the cumin
- cut down the chili powder to 1tsp
- did not saute the bell peppers, corn, or jalapeno (just threw it in at the beginning and let the crockpot do its thing)
- added 1 whole onion chopped and 2 minced garlic cloves (also added to crockpot)
- topped with tortilla chips and avocado
Turned out delicious!
Finishing my 52 Weeks to 52 Healthy Habits E-Course update!
Rewatching role models on Netflix! OMG so funny! I know I've seen that movie a billion times, but it was like I've never seen it before.
Sunday Highlights
Trying out this Pumpkin Maple Butter!
On top of Gluten Free Vans waffles for breakfast!
Actually finishing making Mr. Hungry 's lunch meal prep unlike last week when I said I would and then failed. I made him , Zucchini, and Trader Joe's Frozen Roasted Red Potatoes and Peppers. (A how to make this lunch is on my Insta Stories under Meal Prep)
Cheese and sourdough toast plus a nap saving the day when nausea hit me hard Sunday morning. Luckily I was feeling better by the afternoon!
I also enjoyed getting a manicure and pedicure, despite it taking 2.5 hours?!?!?!?! How? How?
And curling up in front of the TV Sunday night with a bowl full of queso chili, while it started to storm, watching shameless. Perfect way to end the weekend!
What was your weekend best and worst?
