My breakfast this week is scrambled/fried 2 eggs and Dave's Killer Bread toast. Plus coffee with half and half + collagen.
This post started off sharing my crazy fun upcoming year of travel, but then I realized I haven't done a coffee date post in forever! So why not now? If we got to play hooky from adulting this morning and could go spend five dollars on coffees what would you get and what would we talk about?
I know we would laugh a lot about the ridiculous of the world, but I'd also want to hear what's going on in the world of you? On a scale of 1-10 how crazy are things right now? Any travel plans this summer to get away from it all? What's going on?
Without a doubt I would tell you the best thing that happened recently-ish was TWO of my best friends got engaged meaning I'm going to be in TWO weddings, one in November and another in March of 2018. Along with various conferences, it's going to keep me very busy. Almost every month I'll be out of town which is totally unusual for me!

More Talk Talk
I would probably be drinking a venti large a billion shot something given all the stuff I've got going on through May. I picked up two jobs to help supplement teaching for the summer. The first one is a clinical job working mostly in behavioral health. I figured it would be a good way to stay brushed up on my clinical skills and meet other Arizona RDs since I don't know very many.
I'll also be working for Designed To Fit Nutrition, a meal planning company started by Tina from Carrots N Cake. A few weeks ago I jumped on a call with Tina and Kerrie to discuss potentially onboarding. Once I got a look at the software I was instantly hooked! Even though I have my own clients, this is very different from what I do with my clients. DTFN provides macro counts, as well as new recipes and meal plans.
My hungry hobby RD clients fall into many different buckets (typically either or a combination of weight loss, weight gain, sports nutrition, or GI concerns) and most of them can't or don't want to follow a very strict meal plan or count calories. I do provide them all with meal plan examples, but with them, the main focus is on therapeutic nutrition with the goal of decreasing inflammation, balancing hormones, and increasing energy. Often I use an intuitive eating approach, so DTFN will be very different from what I do in my practice. I don't think you have to count calories, macros, or anything else to get results but if you want to that's cool as long as you don't starve yourself (see why 1200 calories is not the right number.) Some people want to follow a plan because they just don't want to have to think up a meal plan every week for themselves, find recipes etc... Maybe they need new inspiration or something to stay motivated, all kinds of reasons. That's totally cool, different things work differently for different people at different times in their life and that's fine! So far it's going really well, and I'm excited to see my DTFN clients progress along!
So needless to say my schedule this month is going to be crazy but I'll just keep chugging my coffee and plugging along, it's a temporary situation so I can get through it! Mr. Hungry reminded me:
I'd probably also tell you not to go see fifty shades darker, even semi-buzzed it still was TERRIBLE.
Have you seen any good movies lately? What's going on with you?

So many things that are so exciting! Really excited for you to work DTF. I'm sad to miss out on Blogfest and seeing you guys, but it just isn't in the cards this year, unless someone wants to bankroll me going!
