Hi friends! Just popping in with a quick fitness check-in for the week. The highlight of the week:
We have a treadmill! It's been amazing, not just for running but for warm-ups before lifting too. Today I got on the treadmill and did a mile to warm up before leg day. The little man watched me the whole time, I was prepared to put him in the carrier and workout with him attached but he hung out fine in his bouncer!
Here is a quick recap of the week:
Fri (1/31)
- Ran 2 miles (outside)
- Upper Body workout from Post Baby Bod
Sat (2/1) - a 20-minute walk
Sun (2/2)
- 10 minute warm up
- lower body workout from Post Baby Bod - my hammies were sore for daaaaaayyyyyyysss
Mon (⅔) - REST
Tues (2/4)
- 2-mile stroller walk
- upper body workout from Post Baby Bod
Wed (⅖)
Treadmill Run 3 miles
- easy warm up - 10 minutes (I start walking, then jog, then get to the base and stay there for however much time is left)
- base 1 min (still finding my base, usually between 5.0 and 5.5 for me right now)
- increase 1 min (I did .5 increases)
- increase 1 min (Another .5 increase)
- hold 1 min
- repeat base, increase, increase, hold 3 more times
- 5 min base
- 4 min push
(35 minutes total)
Thur (2/6) - REST
Sadly, Mr. Hungry's Grandma past away last weekend and the funeral was yesterday which is why I haven't been that active on social media. I'll likely continue to be a little scarce through the weekend to spend time with loved ones. See you all on Monday!
