I decided to do a Food & Fitness Diary Friday this week to catch up on my recent eats and workouts from last week. Last week was kind of crazy because we got back late from California, so I had to rely on freezer food to get us through. I think we did pretty well though!
Breakfast from Einsteins, Southwest Egg White Turkey Sausage on a Whole Wheat Bagel Thin.
Followed by hodge podge of random food I found in our fridge to bring for lunch, plus an overnight chia parfait (all I had the energy to make when we got back late Sunday night.) I didn’t ending up eating the tomato or laughing cow.
Pistachios, like every other day and homemade protein coconut energy whatever balls.
I’m pretty sure I did Workout #4 from SSU 2014 and some cardio…. but I didn’t write it down or take any pics so who really knows.

Followed by the weirdest bedtime snack I’ve been into lately, a tomato with salt and pepper.

4 mile run with no pain on the tread after work
It shuts off after 30 minutes so I had to restart.
I’m sure I snacked on a few pistachios while I made a simple dinner of two fried eggs over deli chicken with broccoli (microwaved from frozen).
Dessert was more protein bites and almond milk.

I woke up feeling a scratchy throat and thought I was getting sick, so I headed to Whole Foods before work to get a green juice.
Nonfat goats milk yogurt with stevia and chia seed jam.
Salad with peppered turkey bacon, deli chicken, sweet red peppers and goat cheese.
After work I headed to the gym to get my sweat on, I started with a .5 mile warm up, did Workout #4 from the Summer Shape Up, followed by a 20 minute HIIT workout. What I thought was crazy was that I could do 30 seconds between 7.5 to 8.0 and 30 seconds between 5.5 and 5.0 and still get in 10 minute miles. I was SUPER sweaty when I was done!

I started Friday with a run, swim and PT.
Breakfast was a chocolate coffee protein shake and a banana (not shown.)
