Hello all! I know I’m a couple days behind, the last couple days have been weird. Tuesday started off having to be at work at 7… so whenever that happens breakfast goes with me. I kind of felt like I brought too much but I ate it anyways because I knew that it would be a long day ahead and breakfast is the most important meal of the day, right?
Around 11am I had some UCAN before I hoped on the elliptical for a quick low intensity workout.
I had planned to stay on the elliptical for 45 minutes, but the dentist called and asked if I could come earlier. I wanted to eat lunch before so I hopped off earlier in favor of food, I was hungry!
Lunch was the same as it was Monday so I’m recycling the photo…
Yep I eat sausage before I go to the dentist, so what? ha ha After I got done with the dentist I stopped home to pick up my name tag, take some pain meds, and apparently make some date bars. Okay, but recipe isn’t blog worthy by any means.
I made these in place of Mr. Hungry’s normal peanut butter bars, he hasn’t tried them yet so I’m not sure what the review will be, I liked them though! I knew I had a long shift ahead of me so I grabbed another coffee smoothie with LIGHT pb, (I like pb but they will give you a whole smoothie full of it if you don’t ask for light.) The downside, I drank it too fast and it made my tummy really unhappy. I thought the coffee smoothies would be the way to go for an afternoon snack but I think I drink them too fast.
I’d planned to just eat a Quest bar while I did long distance lab interpretations, but I couldn’t stomach anymore whey protein. Usually one dose in bar or shake form is all I can handle per day, so I had some jerky to tide me over till I got home.
When I got home I was craving vegetables, definitely felt like I was slacking so I ate the few bites of steak Mr. Hungry saved me and had some asparagus.
And of course some Dark Chocolate
