Happy FriYAY friends! Hows it going? Whats the plans? I mentioned yesterday I feel like there is a ton of pressure to share interesting weekend plans when all I want to do is a workout, hang out with the husband and try a new restaurant ya know? I tried to convince him to go to this nursery to plant an avocado tree, but he reminded me that before the summer is not the time to plant things in Arizona. Touche, this is probably why I can’t keep even cactus alive in my yard sometimes. So I guess that’s not happening now. Oh well, back to the usual of hanging out and catching up on sleep right?
So here is the deal with fitness, I worked out twice TOTAL. Ya, not a proud week for me. It wasn’t entirely my fault because on Friday I was running with the dog and I sprained my ankle. I was running on the dirt path by the canal next to the sidewalk because the dirt is softer on my hip/back but it’s also uneven. So I ate sh*t and luckily it was Mr. Hungry’s work from home day so he was able to come get me and drive me back to my car. I was only about 5 minutes from the house but wasn’t sure I could walk the full 10 minutes to get back to the car. So ya, it was pretty sore the next few days. Then, right when it thought it was getting better it got way worse. Dr. K at Trimotus informed me that my sprain was not in the normal place people sprain their ankle. Aren’t I talented? (My finger in the picture above is pointing to the pain.)
So other than that I did one upper body workout at home. I could have done more but I also wasn’t feeling that great this week so I guess it was a good week to have a busted ankle.
So while fitness was a fail I had some good eats.
I shared a full day of life on Wednesday, but I wanted to share some of the weekend fun we had this weekend! I got a crazy froyo craving last weekend. Can you tell whose is mine and which is Mr. Hungry’s?
Usually, I’m the chocolate person and he gets the fruity flavors, but this time we switched! His mint chocolate was pretty good though! The thing about froyo is it’s SO sugary. I totally get a sugar crash from it and don’t want it again for another 3-6 months. So while it was good, I think I’m done with that for a while.
On Saturday night we hit up good old Rubios for dinner, I ate about 75% of my chips and beans and one taco. Never say no to tacos, aimiright?
We also ordered pizza on Friday night, and killed that all weekend. Seriously, pizza is my favorite but always thin crust!
I’m currently obsessed with these protein shakes:
How cute is this? Does someone want to do this with me or can I borrow someone’s kids? It looks like so much fun!

An avocado plant sounds so fun, I would love to learn more! And pizza is my favorite food on the planet – I love thin crust too if it’s crisp!
