Hi Friends! Sorry about no post yesterday, things started and did not stop rolling till I crawled in bed at 11 last night! That just means you get to check back tomorrow morning for a bonus weekend workout! Let’s do the Friday thing and EAT! I’ve had lot’s of yummy meals this week!
Green smoothie with apple, celery, spinach, and lemon
Fried eggs and avocado
Spinach and goat cheese omelet
This morning—> scrambled eggs and avocado
Lunch
Bison “sliders” with spaghetti squash and sun dried tomato. All I did was mix 1tsp steak seasoning, 3 chopped green onions, 2 eggs, and 1.25lbs ground bison together and bake in muffin cups for 30 minutes at 350F – delicious!
Dinner
These tuna quinoa cakes keep disappearing so fast I can’t get a good “foodgawker” worthy picture. I’m going to try and make them again this week to see if I can get a picture! So delicious and easy! Pretty much had those every single day!

Post workout protein shakes with naked nutrition protein and flax milk.
6 Day Training Split
So I’ve decided to implement a “stricter” training regiment. What happens right now is I go balls to the wall every time I workout, by the time I get to day 3 I’m donezo. So I suggested a two days on and one day off schedule to my friend who is helping me get back into training since injuring my back, we both feel it will help me ensure that I’m recovering adequately.
My goals? Do a pull up, get some muscles! So he came up with two mini 3 day cycles:
Day 1: Upper Body
Day 2: Lower Body
Day 3: Rest
Day 4: Wild card- biceps/shoulders, yoga, running, whatever I want
Day 5: anabolic workout
Day 6: Rest
Plus I walk Nala every morning, I plan to run with her in the mornings on the Upper Body Day and do sprints as part of my workout on the anabolic day. If I do any additional cardio it will be HIIT intervals on the elliptical, rower, or stair master!
Stay tuned tomorrow I’ve got my first lower body super set workout to share with you and it’s a good one! I’m looking forward to a lot of fun plans this weekend, my last grocery store tour and another fun blog project I’ve got planned!
