Well, this post is going up later than expected. This day flew by! But what day doesn’t? I wanted to jump in and share a few things before signing off today, though, so let’s keep this intro short and sweet and get to it! I hope everyone has a good weekend, looking like it’s gonna be a warm one here in Phoenix!

Amazon Bathroom Cabinet
We added this cute little Amazon bathroom cabinet to our bathroom this week!
It was pretty cheap, so it was easy to cut a hole in the back of it for an outlet so we could hide many cords, like the toothbrush charger, hair dryer, and beard trimmer. I wouldn’t store a hot curling iron in there or anything, but the other stuff is now hidden!
Heads up, it comes in a million pieces. It took Mr. Hungry longer to build the cabinet than it did the boys’ bunk beds. Even with KJ’s help with his wooden toolset, haha!
Valentine’s Day
Trying to get three kids to cooperate at 8 am in between breakfast and loading up for school is basically not a thing. I won’t share the picture I took of all three because the baby legit has snot all over her face, it’s gross. But here is one with the boys and their presents from Mommy and Daddy, bubble wands! Which was a huge hit. I don’t love that you have to charge them, but they work really well, and the boys are entertained with them for 30 minutes at a time.
Treadmill Desk
I’ve had a goal of walking 2 miles every single day, but getting out to walk outside is not really realistic anymore, at least not every day. So I’ve been walking on the treadmill with this treadmill desk during some calls and training, it’s really helped me reach my goal! The desk isn’t the sturdiest thing in the world but it works. It rises up, that part is definitely a little flimsy and has dropped down to base level when I’ve pressed on it too hard. I had to order new velcro straps to get it to work with our treadmill.
Fitness
Fitness has been going pretty well! The above picture is from a workout from an expecting and empowered running program (postpartum program) that was basically six uphill sprints with three recovery minutes in between, and I was DYING. It was so hard. My schedule is basically run, strength, metabolic, rest, strength, metabolic, and repeat. But this week, I’ve had to take the last few days off, thanks to catching up on whatever latest dish preschool had to serve up this week. Although I’m the only one sick, well, me and the baby, so I don’t know if I can blame it on the preschool, haha.
Here is a killer metabolic workout for those of you who are looking for some inspiration!

Idea for a blog post: equipment in your home gym, including what you use a lot and what you wish you hadn’t spent money on – perhaps also what you consider adding to your gym.
My husband and I are doing research on expanding our exercise options at home beyond dumb bells – what we want to buy that would have the greatest ROI for us. You often take photos of yourself in your home gym. I realize that what people need to buy depends on how they prefer to workout and what their goals are. Your home gym would be an interesting data point.

Oh ya we definitely have a lot of purchases we wish we hadn’t bought! And a lot of stuff we utilize. I can totally do that blog post! I’ll try to get it up in March!
