Happy Tuesday! Before I tell you about the new shoes I was lucky enough to try out from ASICS, let’s recap some of yesterday!
Yesterday started out everyone’s favorite way, with 2 hours of physical therapy. Before heading out the door I had a chobani non fat vanilla natural yogurt with Earth Balance Coconut Peanut Butter. I HAVE to eat before PT or I get super unmotivated and slightly cranky while I’m doing my workouts. After PT I finished off the last reindeer sausage. I did some work from home, blog stuff, and scheduled AZAND facebook posts. Then we went out to lunch to Gordon Biersch. I had heard really good things about their burgers so I decided to try their cheeseburger in a lettuce wrap with a side house salad. It was okay, but not AMAZING like I was expecting.
Following that there was fudge and cookies involved while we visited family and friends. By the time we got home for dinner I was STARVING. I made a spinach omelet with one egg, 1/2 cup egg whites, and two pieces of turkey bacon plus steamed broccoli.
I have to say I’ve been keeping a food log for the last three days and it’s been really eye opening. I have my clients keep food logs all the time but it’s been a long time since I’ve kept one. There is nothing like evidence in black and white staring back at you to show you where you’re exceeding and where there is room for improvement I’ll be sure to share the log and what I learned after a week or so.
ASICS Gel Fit Sana’s (Crosstrainers)
I’ve been wearing my ASICS Gel Fortius TR for cross training and to work for 6 months or so and I’ve loved them every since I got them. I originally bought them because I found my running shoes to be clunky during cross training, and I was wearing through my running shoes too fast. So I was SUPER excited to try ASICS new non running Gel Fit Sanas for another pair of cross trainers! I seriously love them, I feel like I can wear them anywhere and everywhere.
I wear them to Physical Therapy, to workout (since I haven’t ran since Thanksgiving Turkey Trot), and all day at work.
I love that they truly fit like a glove for your foot which makes them great cross trainers or comfortable to wear all day! They adapt and support your foot with the inner lining from the heel to the forefoot, while providing a barefoot-like sensation. I used to grab my Tom’s to go on walks or go on a quick trip to the store, but these slip on and off so easily I’ve been grabbing them instead! I’ve been totally comfortable transitioning from physical therapy/workouts, to work, to out and about with no problem.
Plus they are super cute, I’ve gotten a lot of compliments on them at the gym and at my Physical Therapists office.

That’s it for me today! I hope you have a great one!

I’m loving the Sanas too! They look cute with the all-black outfit, I should try that combo – the pink/purple will pop!
