Hi Friends! Happy Monday! How was your weekend? Mine was ….. a bit exhausting, but in a good way! Black Friday at the club was an insane 13 hour day which my body is definitely not accustomed too. So that meant my planned Saturday morning workout did not happen, I definitely overslept that one. Instead I started with an omelet before work… the ketchup bottle was almost out so it splattered all over it, but here is a picture of a similar one (minus avocado).
Saturday went quickly, the morning was spent giving out smoothie samples before it was time for lunch. Lunch = Thanksgiving leftovers = delicious. Turkey salad with baked potato sticks and a vanilla greek yogurt.
These KIND bars are my seriously one of my FAVORITE afternoon snacks. I’ve said it before but I love that they taste like a handful of nuts instead of a granola bar, plus they are super filling. I think I might need to invest in gel nails because as you guys can tell mine never stay unscratched for more than 5 minutes.
After work I had quite the dilemma with myself, stay and workout or go home? I was exhausted but felt like I should work out, I definitely fretted about that WAY too much. I ended up heading home and we put up Christmas lights and got a Christmas tree (which we have not decorated yet.)
Then I slept for 12 hours like the true party animal I am! Whoo I guess I was tired! I woke up late Sunday morning, grabbed a quick breakfast of Vanilla Greek Yogurt, Sun Butter, and granola before heading to the gym. Love that easy quick breakfast! Protein + Healthy Fat + a bit of sugar = Happy Kelli.
Usually Sunday is my rest day but it had been a while since I had a true workout (other than running around the gym all day). So I decided to do a workout I based off of my subscription to www.moveskill.com (it’s awesome I highly recommend it). After my workout I sat in the Sauna for the first time ever and now I totally get why people do that, it was awesome! The Lifetime sauna has menthol in it which was amazing and made me feel really relaxed!
After the gym I headed to Sprouts for part one of groceries-
blurry picture sorry….
Lunch was another spinach omelet (2 eggs + 1/3 cup egg whites) with the yummy addition of goat cheese. I wasn’t sure how it would be but it was SOOOOOO GOOD! I <3 Goat Cheese.
Sunday afternoon included finally cracking open my NASM study materials and getting to work! Speaking of that, if you are wondering where my weekend posts went… I’m postponing them until I get the test done. I got through recommended week one reading so now I’m only one week behind!

Oh, and Mr. Hungry got a bed so my in-laws would have somewhere to sleep when they came to visit! ha ha you know the essentials!

An advent jar sounds so fun! I’ve seen a few bloggers already mention doing one! I may have to put my own spin on doing it too!

I haven’t been on a rowing machine in awhile and this post just reminded me how much I’ve missed it. I am currently studying for my ACE Health Coach certification and with a full time job and 4 month old, it is so hard to find time to study! Good luck on you NASM exam!

Good Luck to you today!
