Meditate daily… does three times count? I have to say the times that I did meditate I felt more centered and well rested. Especially when I found myself upset about my injury and not being able to run/weight lift I found meditating extremely helpful. It helped me move through the I’m sad, I feel sorry for myself, this is the end of the world phase and look toward to bright side. Each time I meditated I came away with clarity and new found confidence in myself and the healing process. However, regardless of how great you feel after, its hard to sit down and actually do it. I thought about using 10 minutes during my lunch break, which in theory would have been a great idea… but it’s so hard when caught up in the moment to stop and make the time for meditation. Work time is go time, non stop till I get home…. then it’s a chiropractic appointment or power tower, dinner, get ready for the next day, blog, and bedtime… each day is a whirlwind… so lets just say this one is still is a work in progress. This week I am aiming to make time for meditation three or more times and build up from there. How about you, did you make time meditation this past week? How did it go?

Pin It Party 4
One of my favorite bloggers, Lindsay aka “The Lean Green Bean” is hosting a Pin It Party. Admittedly, I’m a little late to the party (started last Thursday) but hey what the heck, better late than never. The idea is to write a post with your top five posts you would love to see on Pinterest, the link up allows you to pick other blogs to pin from and they can pin from your posts. Head over to the party to enter yourself or just to find some awesome pins. Here’s to Pinterest distractions on a Monday!
