Meal Plan (11/2/14)

Happy Sunday everyone!  As always I hope you are having a fantastic weekend so far!  I just got back from Mass and hiking with a friend so it’s been a good Sunday.  Now I’m blogging and watching football with the boys.

First things first, just in case you missed it, don’t forget to check out my newest post on the Formulx Health News and Blog about 3 Ways to Prevent Holiday Weight Gain!

Next topic: groceries!  We are really trying to use what we have around here so I didn’t buy that much.

The picture disappeared so I’ll just write it out.  Let’s just say the Adel’s roadshow was at Costco so I loaded up our freezer.

–  2 packs of Adells Chicken Apple Lunch meat

–  1 pack of Adells Roasted Red Pepper Chicken Sausage

–  Cauliflower

Trader Joe’s/Fry’s

Puffins were on sale at Fry’s so we made a quick pit stop on the way home.  I’ve been all about the bargain hunting lately!

Menu Options

This is going to be a really weird week, not sure what is going on so everything I plan to make can also be thrown in the freezer for later use if not used!

Breakfast Options

–  Egg Sandwiches

 High Protein Pumpkin Pancake

Flour Free Pumpkin Pancake (glutenfree)

–  Smoothies:  Pumpkin Coffee Smoothie or Pumpkin Green Protein Smoothie

Lunch Options

–  Mahi Burger Salads

–  Chicken Sausage Salads

–  Sandwiches or LEFTOVERS (cook once, eat many times is my favorite motto)

Dinner Plan

Sunday- Chicken Sausage and Spicy Quinoa Skillet (from the freezer)

Monday- Vegetable Chip Crusted Baked Chicken & Roasted Cauliflower

Tuesday- Fall Frittata(I’m thinking spinach and butternut squash?)

Wednesday- Chicken Chorizo Stuffed Sweet Potatoes and Spinach

Thursday- Shrimp and Broccoli Omelet

Friday- Wing It

Saturday- Wing It

Questions of the day:

What’s your favorite thing at Costco’s roadshow?

What were the best parts about your weekend so far?

Best part of my weekend was hanging out with the hubby on Halloween, running 2.5 miles, going to see Hercules, and developing new blog recipes!

What are you looking forward to this month?

  1. The best part of my weekend was seeing my friends at a halloween party.

Great week of meals you got there!

  2. Costco is our LIFE SAVER living on Maui, we buy everything there because it has decent prices.

The hubby took me to a fancy restaurant, we got all dressed up and were “kid-less” for the evening. That was the BEST part of my weekend.

I’m looking forward to sticking to my Clean-Eating meal plan, getting lots of work done and enjoying being THANKFUL this month!!
